Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Branch Operations Manager for Commercial Lines in California. The role leads all IOA insurance operations at the assigned branch, overseeing performance, budgeting, policy implementation, and staff development.

You will also participate in acquisitions and serve as Account Manager for a defined book of business. The position requires an active P&C license, strong leadership and communication skills, and a hybrid work arrangement with 1 day in one of IOA’s

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience with deep knowledge of commercial lines
• 2+ years of management experience in a branch or similar setting
• Active property & casualty licensing is required

Responsibilities

• Direct daily activities and workflow of the branch team.
• Drive annual strategic and tactical plans for the branch.
• Manage branch P&L, control costs, and hit financial goals.
• Understand and manage the annual budget.
• Communicate leadership vision and branch mission.
• Build and manage a qualified operations team.
• Participate in recruitment and onboarding; evaluate merger/acquisition opportunities.
• Oversee HR processes and policy compliance; ensure performance standards.
