Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking a Branch Operations Manager - Commercial Lines to lead daily operations across the designated California branches. The role focuses on directing the operations team, executing strategic plans, budgeting, and ensuring high levels of customer service while supporting producer acquisitions and acting as Account Manager for a defined book of business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience with deep, wide-ranging industry knowledge.
• 2+ years of management experience.
• Active property & casualty licensing.
• Exceptional account management skills with 50% of time on a book.
• Strong communication, people management, and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations and workflow of the branch team.
• Drive annual strategic and tactical plans for the branch.
• Manage branch P&L, costs, and financial goals.
• Understand and manage the annual budget.
• Communicate leadership vision and mission for the branch.
• Build and manage an operations team; recruit and onboard.
• Participate in recruitment and evaluate merger opportunities.
• Ensure HR processes and policies compliance.
• Establish productivity, quality, and service standards.
• Encourage staff development and succession planning.
• Develop future branch operations leaders and promote IOA values.
• Monitor performance data and address gaps; collaborate with sales.
