Job summary

QXO, a leading distributor and installer of building products, seeks a Branch Manager in Maryland. You will oversee daily operations, champion safety, ensure audit compliance, and optimize warehouse layouts while directing schedules and staff training.

Ideal candidates have an AA degree, prior operational experience in building materials, leadership skills, and willingness to learn. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; competitive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• Operational experience in building materials, construction, or related industry.
• Spanish bilingual proficiency a plus.
• Experience supervising and leading others.
• Knowledge of exterior logistics.
• Commitment to continuous learning and dependable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assume branch manager responsibilities in their absence, assuring smooth daily operations.
• Champion a safety-oriented culture and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Ensure audit procedures and daily cash handling and accounting compliance.
• Optimize warehouse and store layout for efficiency and schedule equipment maintenance.
• Create and update work schedules; review and approve hours worked by employees.
• Provide training and support to branch employees and foster a customer-centric service.
