Job summary

QXO is seeking a branch operations leader to act as acting manager in their absence and drive a safety-first culture. You will ensure audit compliance, optimize warehouse layouts, and manage schedules while training staff to deliver exceptional customer service.

Qualifications include an A.A. or equivalent, plus experience in supervising, logistics, and building materials. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; can be substituted for related experience.
• Operational experience, preferably in building materials, construction, or related industry.
• Spanish bilingual proficiency a plus.
• Experience in supervising and leading others.
• Knowledge and experience in exterior logistics.
• Commitment to continuous learning and dependable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assume branch manager responsibilities in their absence.
• Champion a safety-oriented culture and ensure adherence to safety protocol.
• Ensure compliance with audit procedures and daily cash handling.
• Optimize warehouse and store layout for efficiency and plan maintenance.
• Create and update work schedules; review and approve hours worked.
• Provide training and support to branch employees and exceed service expectations.
