Job summary

QXO, a leading distributor and installer of building products, is seeking a Sales Leader to oversee a profit center in Garland, TX. You will manage operations and administration, recruit and train the sales team, and drive strategic decisions based on market trends to identify profitable opportunities.

You will collaborate with the Branch Credit Manager, maintain vendor relationships, and foster a safety-focused culture while developing future leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or 1–2 years' related experience and/or training
• Prior leadership in industry
• Spanish bilingual proficiency a plus
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Refined leadership skills including managerial and supervisory experience
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and team
• Organizational and time management skills, including prioritizing tasks and delegating effectively

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of a profit center, including operations and administration
• Recruit, train, and lead the sales team, and work cross functionally with other departments
• Make strategic decisions based on trend analysis to identify profitable business opportunities
• Collaborate closely with the Branch Credit Manager to establish an appropriate account base and ensure financial stability
• Maintain strong vendor relationships, leveraging manufacturer information to market products and services
• Foster a positive work environment and develop future leaders
• Champion a safety-oriented culture within the organization, ensuring all employees understand and follow safety protocols
