Job summary

SF Fire Credit Union, based in San Francisco, seeks an Assistant Branch Manager to handle member communications, process transactions, and cross-sell appropriate products while maintaining service standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 3+ years in a related role, with preferred managerial experience in a financial institution. Expect a hands-on, community-focused environment and schedule including Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; plus at least three years related experience and/or training.
• Previous Branch and managerial experience in a financial institution is preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to write business communications to members and employees.
• Reasoning ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts.
• Mathematical skills to reconcile member and general ledger accounts.
• Experience operating a personal computer in a Windows environment; Ultradata/FSP and MS Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors member communications received via postal mail.
• Cross-sell appropriate products and services to maximize the member relationship.
• Create relationships with members by going the extra mile and meeting deadlines.
• Take ownership of member issues and ensure service standards are met.
• Provide staff with training tools and resources for personal development.
• Monitor membership volume and assist in data changes at the membership and account level.
• Complete reports, tasks, and projects within established guidelines and timeframes.
• Meet sales and service goals and assist in branch operations in manager's absence.
• Oversee branch operations and staff scheduling; support branch leadership.
