Johnson Controls is seeking a Branch Operations Manager to support System Application Engineers and the construction sales team. You will coach SAEs, manage projects, and ensure profitable, on-time delivery within contract scope.

This role emphasizes pre-sales support, training, and proper turnover to service teams. Based in the Tampa, FL area, the position requires strong leadership, HVAC knowledge, and collaboration with Account Executives and vendors to meet customer expectations and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; mechanical preferred.
• 5+ years of operations management experience in Building Construction/HVAC.
• Strong project management and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach System Application Engineers in branch operations.
• Coordinate pre-sales, bids, estimates, and submittals with SAE team.
• Ensure projects are profitable, on time, and within contract scope.
• Balance internal processes with customer satisfaction and project finances.
• Develop training programs and ensure proper turnover to service.
• Escalate and resolve issues related to orders, delivery, and payments.
