Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks a Branch Operations Manager to support System Application Engineers and the sales team in Tampa. The role focuses on profitable project execution, timely delivery, and effective coordination between engineering, sales, and service teams.

You will coach SAEs, manage estimates and submittals, and help ensure customer satisfaction and project financial health. Local candidates in the Tampa area are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of operations management experience in Building Construction/HVAC.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio and CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAEs and Account Executives to ensure profitable, on-time project delivery.
• Coordinate with service teams for startups, warranty and post-sale support.
• Develop training programs for System Application Engineers and ensure proper handoffs to service.
