Job summary

Worldpac in Massachusetts is seeking an Assistant Branch Operations Manager to learn all facets of branch operations and support the Branch Operations Manager in guiding the team on a day-to-day basis.

The role emphasizes safety, training, customer service, and hands-on leadership while managing logistics, scheduling, and budgets. A high school diploma and at least 2 years of leadership in warehousing are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school/ GED equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience in a warehouse-related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Excellent English reading/writing/speaking skills.
• Able to read/write/speak English fluently and legally eligible to work.
• Able to open/close the warehouse Mon-Fri and Saturdays as needed.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and meet state requirements for driving a company vehicle.
• Strong organization and prioritization abilities.

Responsibilities

• In the absence of the Branch Operations Manager, assumes day-to-day branch operations.
• Adheres to safety and security procedures and models compliant behavior.
• Supports team training and development for immediate application to work.
• Maintains customer service orientation in all interactions.
• Assists in learning all branch management functions, including operations, staffing, training, performance reviews, and budgeting.
• Delivers orders or handles returns in a safe, courteous manner.
• Other duties as assigned.
