Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus three (3) years of banking experience.
• Personal Banking/New Account and supervisory experience preferred
• Knowledge of bank operations and products
• Knowledge of basic accounting
• Knowledge of and training on federal and state consumer compliance laws
• Ability to review account information and assess client needs to recommend appropriate Bank products
• Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
• Excellent communication skills, as demonstrated in previous position interacting with customers
• Ability to give direction to branch personnel as needed, as demonstrated in previous leadership or supervisory role

Responsibilities

• Assist the branch manager with overall responsibilities of the branch, including supporting sales goals and delivering financial services.
• Manage the daily operations of the branch and resolve service related issues.
• Promote business for the Bank and supervise the daily activities of branch personnel.
• Provide work direction and coaching to other branch personnel.
• Open accounts and respond to client requests, resolving service issues.
• Train and keep personnel informed on operational issues; manage weekly staff schedules.
• Review and approve timecards; maintain attendance records.
• Perform personnel actions including evaluations and interviewing candidates.
• Operate computer terminals to process account activity and resolve problems within authority.
