Job summary

The Manitowoc Company in Baton Rouge is seeking a Branch Operations Intern to learn how parts, service, rentals, sales, and branch management work together to support customers and drive dealership performance.

You'll rotate through departments, shadow management, and participate in projects while gaining hands-on experience with MGX software and CRM tools, training for future opportunities in operations and sales.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in a related field.
• Strong communication and customer-focused approach.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Attention to detail, organization, and time-management.
• Ability to learn new software and collaborate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through parts to learn inventory controls and assist cycle counts.
• Support service with work-in-process, P.O. processes, and technician scheduling.
• Assist rental team with availability reviews, quotes, and board activities.
• Participate in sales ride-alongs to observe customer conversations and needs.
• Shadow branch management with basic profit-and-loss awareness and approvals.
• Develop working knowledge of MGX software and CRM tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects and priorities.
