Job summary

QXO, a leading distributor and installer across Roofing, Lumber, LBM, and Insulation & Installation, offers a 12-week Summer Internship. You will work within a QXO branch across the United States, gaining hands-on exposure to sales, service, inventory, logistics, and core operations.

You will collaborate with leaders and teammates to learn customer insights, products, markets, and business priorities while building communication and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree with expected graduation Winter 2027 or Spring/Summer 2028
• Academic focus relevant to internship area
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with curiosity
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Demonstrated initiative and adaptability
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Able to work full-time for the 12-week internship
• Comfortable engaging with branch team members and customers

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meaningful projects and day-to-day business priorities within your assigned branch
• Gain hands-on exposure to branch operations, including sales, customer service, inventory, logistics, and other core business activities
• Work alongside QXO leaders and team members to understand customers, products, markets, and business priorities
• Take ownership of assigned work and use data and business insights to solve problems, improve processes, and support branch performance
• Participate in team meetings and cross-functional activities to understand branch operations in the broader business
• Support initiatives focused on sales growth, customer engagement, operational efficiency, inventory management, and process improvement
• Build relationships with fellow interns, mentors, leaders, and colleagues while developing business, communication, and leadership skills
• Seek and apply feedback throughout the program to strengthen performance
• Complete a final internship project and present insights to QXO leaders
