Job summary

QXO is seeking a current student for a 12-week Summer Internship Program across U.S. branches.

You will gain hands-on exposure to day-to-day operations in Roofing, Lumber, Building Materials, and Insulation & Installation, while contributing to meaningful projects and learning how branches serve customers and drive results. You will work with experienced leaders, receive mentorship, defined objectives, regular feedback, and complete a final project presented to QXO leaders.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree with graduation windows Winter 2027 or Spring/Summer 2028.
• Academic focus relevant to the internship area.
• Strong written and verbal communication with professional interaction skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with curiosity.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated initiative and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills for cross-functional work.
• Willingness to work full-time for the 12-week program.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meaningful projects and day-to-day business priorities within your assigned branch.
• Gain hands-on exposure to branch operations, including sales, customer service, inventory, logistics, and other core activities.
• Work alongside QXO leaders and team members to understand customers, products, markets, and priorities.
• Take ownership of assigned work and use data to solve problems and improve processes.
• Participate in team and cross-functional meetings to understand branch operations' connection to the business.
• Support initiatives focused on sales growth, customer engagement, operational efficiency, and process improvements.
• Build relationships with interns, mentors, and colleagues while developing business and leadership skills.
• Seek and apply feedback to strengthen performance.
• Complete a final internship project and present insights to QXO leaders.
