Job summary

Performance Contracting’s Promatec operations in Houston, TX seeks a Branch Administrator to lead the branch’s administrative and financial functions. You will work with branch leadership, project managers, estimators and regional accounting to keep accurate financial information and ensure timely project delivery.

Key duties include supervising administrative staff, managing contract files, overseeing billing and collections across multiple projects, and preparing month-end reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of relevant office administration or accounting experience.
• Experience supervising and developing a team.
• Working knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to investigate discrepancies, think critically, solve problems and follow issues through to resolution.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead administrative staff and develop the team.
• Manage contract compliance and files.
• Oversee billing and collections across multiple projects.
• Prepare month-end financial reports.
• Review cost coding and job cost ledger accuracy.
• Coordinate customer relations and resolve issues.
• Provide backup purchasing, accounts payable and payroll support.
• Identify process improvements and drive efficiency.
• Support branch leadership and estimators as needed.
