Job summary

Cooper Electric Supply, LLC, part of the Sonepar group, is seeking an office professional to handle calls, billing, and payments. The role supports branch locations and sales staff with ERP transactions, cash reconciliations, and month-end tasks.

The position is full-time, on-site, with a typical schedule of Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm. Pay ranges from $20 to $23 per hour, with comprehensive benefits offered by the employer.

• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissions, and percentages
• Ability to deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to prioritize needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, computer, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Answer and assist with calls and emails from Branch locations.
• Bill freight and directs.
• Entering customer payments.
• Issue credit to resolve account receivable disputes as approved by local management.
• Manage returns - customer credits, vendor returns.
• Review unapproved payables for direct orders.
• Support sales writers and management with Eclipse transactions.
• Work with manager to clear open cash accounts.
• Reconcile daily cash box.
• Handle month end and cycle counts.
