Job summary

Barnhart Crane & Rigging is seeking a Branch Administrator in Spokane to support daily operations and coordinate administrative, financial, and project tasks. You will work with leadership and cross-functional teams to keep the branch organized and efficient.

The role emphasizes strong organization, proactive problem-solving, and collaboration across departments, with critical duties including invoicing, onboarding, and travel logistics. A driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute daily tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to branch team and leadership.
• Manage accounts receivable (A/R) and accounts payable (A/P).
• Post and maintain monthly safety meeting materials and documentation.
• Process bi-weekly credit card transactions accurately.
• Generate, maintain, and post job files.
• Coordinate new hire onboarding with HR.
• Support project management activities: review timesheets, assist invoicing, coordinate with vendors, manage permits, arrange travel logistics.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
