Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage is seeking a Branch Operations Manager to oversee the loan process from start to finish and to act as a liaison between internal teams and borrowers. You’ll drive loan efficiency, ensure adherence to program guidelines, and optimize borrower outcomes.

The role requires mortgage processing experience, knowledge of DU/LP and disclosures, and strong analytical and communication skills to manage a diverse pipeline across Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 3–5 years residential mortgage processing experience
• Experience with Encompass LOS preferred
• Prior underwriting or processing experience is a plus
• Knowledge of RESPA guidelines and mortgage regulations
• Knowledge of DU/LP, Outlook, Windows
• Strong math, analytics, and communication skills
• Excellent prioritization and time management to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service by guiding borrowers through loan programs and costs.
• Review and audit income/assets, run DU, verify credit documentation to ensure loan stability.
• Review disclosures and deliver to borrowers, including rate disclosures and re-disclosures.
• Manage a pipeline of Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA loans and related products.
• Ensure loan structure presents the best program for the borrower's finances.
• Check files for missing documentation to support approval.
• Communicate loan programs and costs to borrowers (license may be required).
• Pre-underwrite items to support loan approval (paystubs, credit reports, etc.).
• Input data for disclosures and set up loans to fit borrowers' needs.
