Job summary

Airgas is seeking a Branch Manager in Selma, AL to oversee daily store operations, drive sales, and maintain inventory levels while ensuring regulatory compliance and safety across the branch. You will support outside sales, handle customer inquiries, and guide a team toward meeting branch goals.

The role requires a strong background in management within a retail or industrial distribution setting, with ability to lift heavy items and manage multi-priority tasks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of managerial experience in a customer-facing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in Profit and Loss (P&L) management and KPI-driven performance.
• Proven ability to lead retail or industrial distribution teams and drive sales.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations to meet sales and margin goals.
• Promote sales, deliver excellent customer service, and manage inventory levels.
• Balance expenses through informed purchasing and cost control.
• Lead training for inside sales on product knowledge, policies, and safety.
• Coordinate timely product delivery and ensure safe, compliant branch operations.
