Job summary

Airgas Sherman, TX seeks a Branch Manager to oversee daily operations, drive sales, manage inventory and ensure safety compliance. The role leads inside staff, supports outside sales, and maintains strong customer service.

You will mentor team members, coordinate with HR, and ensure accurate financial processing while balancing costs and service quality. This position requires physical capability and leadership commitment.

Qualifications

• 2+ management experience in a customer facing environment.
• Background in supporting and leading teams within a retail or industrial distribution environment.
• Proficient computer skills and an interest in learning new digital tools.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and occasionally up to 125 lbs with equipment.

Responsibilities

• The Branch Manager oversees daily store operations to achieve or advance sales and margin goals.
• Promote sales, deliver excellent customer service, nurture inventory levels, and balance expenses.
• Foster facility and staff alignment to safety and regulatory standards.
• Provide professional customer service for internal and external customers and handle inquiries.
• Support outside sales in nurturing client relationships and new business opportunities.
• Ensure timely processing of financial transactions (cash reports, pricing, etc.).
• Maintain back order, open order, and PO expedite reports.
• Cultivate cylinder and hard goods inventory levels.
• Lead training for inside sales on product knowledge and safety.
• Conduct performance reviews and mentor staff with HR and senior management.
