Job summary

Poppy Bank in Clovis, CA seeks a Branch Manager to lead daily branch operations, drive sales, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations in a fast paced environment. You will manage staff, train for sales and service excellence, and deliver superior customer experiences while maintaining security and efficiency.

Travel to nearby branches may be required. Responsibilities include staffing, coaching, performance reviews, and ensuring branch profitability through cost control and deposit

Qualifications

• Proven sales ability and documented branch growth.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Leadership and experience in teamwork (or team building) and customer service.
• Experience in hiring, training, coaching and performance management of employees.
• Must be proficient using Word, Excel and Outlook applications and banking programs.
• Notary Public preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hires and develops quality staff ensuring proper skills and staffing levels to ensure the highest level of customer service.
• Regularly meets with direct reports to determine team needs and career goals, with coaching opportunities documented.
• Promotes core deposit growth through creation and management of in-branch sales promotions.
• Monitors branch performance and audits, ensuring compliance with procedures and regulations.
• Ensures branch staff are trained in sales and service techniques.
• Manage day-to-day branch operations and approve large deposits/withdrawals; review daily reports.
