Job summary

Union Bank of VT/ NH is seeking a Branch Manager for the North Conway Branch. You will oversee day-to-day operations, lead a team, and drive customer growth while representing the bank in the community.

Responsibilities include developing business with bank partners, managing relationships with business clients, and guiding treasury management and lending solutions. Prior banking leadership and regulatory familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years banking experience including related banking courses.

Founded in 1891 in Morrisville, Vermont, Union Bank is a full-service bank offering commercial, retail, municipal and asset management services throughout northern Vermont and northern New Hampshire.

We are seeking a motivated individual for our Branch Manager position located in our North Conway Branch. As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for overall business operations, development and customer growth, for a retail branch. Develop new business and work with bank partners to lead growth in the community. Serve as the face of Union Bank, conducting outreach to business clients, prospects and centers of influence, and maintaining a high level of community involvement. Perform more complex financial fulfillment for customers as determined by market needs. Assist business clients with financial guidance, including such needs as Treasury Management and Lending. Use independent judgment within the framework of established policies to recruit, select, mentor and coach teammates in areas of performance, product knowledge, account opening and customer experience. Exercise judgement to approve and enable higher-level transactions as Check Encashment, Wires, and Payments. Ensure Operations Excellence and Compliance with all regulatory guidelines. May perform Signature Guarantees as authorized by the Bank. You may provide occasional direct teller and customer service to support Branch operations.

Requirements

1. Banking experience of 3 years or greater including completion of related banking courses.
2. Extensive knowledge of all deposit products and services.
3. Ability to originate consumer and home equity loan products.
4. Familiarity with the principles of business lending and related assistance programs, and Treasury Management
5. Proficient knowledge of and experience with platform, teller and applicable loan origination systems.
6. Supervisory experience required, independent management experience preferred.
7. Responsible for keeping up to date with pertinent banking regulations and banking principles.
8. Must be eligible to be NMLS licensed and participate in active registration.
9. Software Utilized: Microsoft Office, Paylocity, Lending and Treasury Management platforms as required, Synergy, Silverlake, SL Teller, and ArgoKeys.
