Job summary

Airgas is seeking a Branch Manager for our Morristown, TN location. You will oversee daily store operations, drive sales and margin growth, and lead a team to deliver exceptional customer service and safe, efficient branch performance.

The role emphasizes inventory management, training, and cross-functional collaboration to meet financial and service goals while upholding safety standards and excellent housekeeping. A strong background in retail or industrial distribution is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience in a customer-facing environment.
• Background in leading teams within retail or industrial distribution.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and occasionally 125 lbs with assistance.
• Proficient computer skills and willingness to learn new digital tools.
• Self-motivated with focus on team success.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to bridge staff and management.

Responsibilities

• Promote sales and achieve sales and margin goals.
• Deliver excellent customer service and manage daily store operations.
• Nurture inventory levels and balance expenses through purchasing support.
• Foster safety and regulatory compliance across facility and staff.
• Provide training for inside sales on product knowledge, policies, and safety.
• Conduct periodic performance reviews and mentor staff with HR collaboration.
