Job summary

Bellco Credit Union in Fort Collins seeks a Branch Manager to lead customer relationships across retail and small business, ensuring branch profitability and smooth operations.

You will guide staff, uphold Bellco values, and optimize service delivery while managing risk and compliance. A business/finance background and leadership experience are essential; commitment to member service is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3 years financial services experience
• Minimum 1 year leadership experience including the MIT program

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates Bellco’s Act Nice Behaviors and Core Values in all interactions with members, prospective members, and personnel.
• Responsible for overall branch financial results, operations effectiveness, productivity, and cost effectiveness.
• Gains and maintains a strong knowledge of Bellco products and services and can accurately enter and complete transactions, loan applications and account openings in Bellco systems.
• Conducts daily huddles and monthly one‑on‑ones with branch staff.
• Evaluates, develops, motivates and trains branch personnel, coaches staff in sales and service activities.
• Successfully recruits, hires, trains and navigates performance issues, etc. Proactively mitigates risk for Bellco through sound leadership.
• Supports company messages and initiatives. Takes ownership of conversations with the team and is an advocate for change.
• Manages losses and other risk issues and ensures financial losses are within acceptable guidelines.
• Understands and effectively implements all appropriate regulations.
• Ensures branch effectiveness and adherence to all branch operations, procedures, and compliance.
• Maintains thorough knowledge of lending process and operations to support staff.
