Kansas City Credit Union is seeking a Branch Manager to lead and develop the branch team, build strong member relationships, and partner with loan and underwriting teams to provide practical financial solutions. Qualifications

• At least three years of relevant banking or credit union experience, including at least one year in a supervisory, assistant manager, or team lead role.
• Experience coaching employees, handling member or customer concerns, and holding a team accountable with fairness and consistency.
• Working knowledge of deposit accounts, teller operations, cash controls, account opening, and branch security and compliance practices.
• A record of building relationships and identifying appropriate financial solutions while protecting the member's interests.
• Clear communication, strong organization, attention to detail, and the judgment to resolve issues within your authority and escalation when needed.
• Comfort learning technology and helping others use core banking systems, digital banking, and self‑service tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent. Relevant experience is valued; a college degree is not required
• Experience that is a plus: CU*BASE or CBX familiarity and related branch process improvements.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop the branch team through regular coaching, training, performance feedback, and clear expectations.
• Support hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and staff accountability.
• Set the standard for welcoming, accurate service. Resolve escalated concerns with sound judgment and ensure timely follow‑up.
• Build member relationships through conversations about financial needs; coach staff on product recommendations and referrals.
• Partner with Consumer Loan Specialists and underwriting to connect members with borrowing options and keep requests moving through the process.
• Manage daily branch operations, including opening/closing, staffing coverage, cash and vault controls, balancing, documentation, and security procedures.
• Maintain approvals, dual controls, and separation of duties; protect confidential information and escalate unusual activity.
• Reinforce compliance with procedures and requirements, including KYC/ID, privacy, and regulatory responsibilities; support audits and corrective actions.
• Track service, referrals, growth, and operational results; use feedback to improve the branch and community relationships.
