Job summary

PlainsCapital Bank is seeking a Branch Manager II to lead all aspects of the branch, including sales, service, operations, and risk management. The role focuses on external business development and relationship management, driving referral activity, and partnering with lenders to achieve profitability and growth.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in banking with strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and a proven ability to manage teams and customer relationships in a community-focused

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; business or related field preferred.
• 7+ years in banking with at least five years in direct branch management.
• Regulatory and operational knowledge of bank services and procedures.
• External business development, networking, and relationship-building experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficient PC skills including Microsoft Office and custom applications.
• Strong analytical, time management, and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall branch performance integrating sales, service, operations, and risk management to drive profitability.
• Hire, coach, and manage staff performance; resolve issues.
• Oversee branch operations, sales management, and service delivery for efficiency and compliance.
• Ensure regulatory, security, and policy compliance across the branch.
• Develop and execute branch-level business development strategies.
• Partner with lending leadership to grow client portfolios and referrals.
• Achieve branch and personal production targets while fostering a sales culture.
