Airgas in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Branch Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales and margin goals, and foster a safe, efficient working environment. You will manage inventory, coordinate orders, and coach a team to deliver excellent customer service and reliable product delivery.

The role emphasizes leadership, KPI-driven performance, and strong communication with staff and customers in a retail/distribution setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must operate in a drug-free workplace.
• Proven managerial experience in a customer-facing environment, with P&L management and KPI usage.
• Valued experience in people leadership with a dedication to supporting team growth and alignment, coaching, mentoring and development.
• Experience with distribution center operations and complex customer relationships.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and occasional up to 125 lbs with equipment.
• Proficient computer skills and willingness to learn new digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain customer relationships and provide excellent service.
• Assist customers with product selection and technical support.
• Process orders accurately and coordinate timely product delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock in the store.
• Prepare sales reports and analyze performance metrics.
• Resolve customer complaints and provide exceptional service.
• Maintain store operations and support merchandising efforts.
• Lead and supervise direct reports in alignment with policies and laws.
