Job summary

Airgas is hiring a Branch Manager in Sioux City, IA to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and ensure service excellence. You will manage inventory, oversee branch safety, and mentor a team of inside sales staff to deliver outstanding customer support.

The role requires strong leadership, a track record in retail or industrial distribution, and experience with P&L management and KPIs. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and a drug-free workplace is required.

Qualifications

• Must have proven managerial experience in a customer-facing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in Profit and Loss (P&L) management and KPI usage.
• Experience in leading and coaching teams within retail or industrial distribution.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations to achieve sales and margin goals.
• Promote sales and deliver excellent customer service.
• Maintain inventory levels and balance expenses through purchase support.
• Lead inside sales training on product knowledge, policies, processes and safety.
• Conduct periodic performance reviews and mentor staff.
