Job summary

First Citizens' Federal Credit Union in Plymouth, MA seeks a Branch Manager - Plymouth (Project Management) to lead a focused team, mentor staff, and drive improvements while ensuring policy compliance and operational soundness.

You will oversee daily branch operations, customer experience, and interactions with partners, participate in community initiatives, and develop staff while achieving growth and retention goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years' experience working in a financial institution including teller or member service experience.
• 2+ years' experience leading a team.
• Extensive knowledge of banking products, processes, and banking compliance.
• Excellent relationship skills and ability to work with a variety of team members and customers.
• Must be organized and detail oriented; able to multi-task and prioritize.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Bilingual (Spanish and/or Portuguese) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of assigned branch including member experience, operations, compliance and team members.
• Lead team members to understand and follow company objectives and drive collaboration.
• Oversee team member experience, performance and development with mentorship and coaching.
• Greet members and assist with banking needs while building relationships.
• Ensure branch compliance and sound operations at all times.
• Perform essential branch duties: cashing checks, deposits, withdrawals, loans, and accounts.
• Open new accounts, process IRA transactions, and advise on IRAs.
• Collaborate with partners to meet member needs and resolve issues.
• Participate in local community activities to promote the credit union.
