Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager in Fremont, CA for a direct hire opportunity with a growing banking and consumer lending organization. The Branch Manager will oversee daily branch operations, sales performance, customer service, compliance, staff development, and community engagement. Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, hire, train, and develop branch employees to ensure strong customer service, operational accuracy, sales performance, and professional growth.
• Manage daily branch operations, including audits, compliance, procedures, approvals, reports, expense controls, deposits, withdrawals, NSF items, and overdraft exceptions.
• Drive branch growth through sales leadership, deposit strategies, customer profiling, outbound calling, networking, cross‑selling, and community relationship development.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by resolving complex business and consumer account issues, supporting account servicing needs, and modeling a customer‑first culture.
• Monitor branch performance trends, communicate goals, review key metrics, and implement corrective actions to improve profitability, service, compliance, and team results.
• Represent the branch in community and civic activities, support CRA initiatives, and participate in business‑related local organizations.

Compensation and Benefits

• Compensation: $74,880 to $107,525 per year.
• Job Type: Direct Hire.
• Location: Fremont, CA.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Manage overall branch operations, sales performance, compliance, service quality, and profitability.
• Lead branch staff through coaching, training, performance management, scheduling support, and ongoing employee development.
• Execute sales, relationship‑building, community outreach, deposit growth, and cross‑selling strategies.
• Resolve complex business and consumer banking issues while maintaining operational quality and customer satisfaction.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a branch banking environment.
• Minimum of 5 years of branch management experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing complex business and consumer accounts.
• Proven sales ability with documented branch growth and deposit generation experience.
• Experience hiring, training, coaching, evaluating, and managing employee performance.
• Strong knowledge of branch operations, banking procedures, audit expectations, compliance standards, and customer service practices.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership, team‑building ability, and commitment to superior customer service.
• Active involvement in local business or community organizations, such as a Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, or similar group.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and banking software programs.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including beyond scheduled hours when business needs require.
• Current California driver’s license and access to a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage for business‑related driving.

Preferred Qualifications

• Notary Public commission preferred.
• Experience supporting CRA‑related community activities preferred.
• Established local business, civic, or community relationships in the Fremont market preferred.
