Job summary

SECU seeks a Lead Member Services Officer to oversee branch operations, mentor staff, and lead in loan underwriting and collections. The role involves coordinating with ABM/VP/SVP and taking a leadership role in lending and service delivery across channels.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with policies, training staff, and escalating to FAS when needed, while maintaining confidentiality and accurate recordkeeping.

Qualifications

• Completion of Consumer Lending Program (CLP) courses. Passing score on CLP Exam required prior to becoming a Member Services Officer.
• The Lead MSO is granted Tier 5 Lending Limits and can approve loans within those limits.
• Comply with all Credit Union policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the management of the branch at the direction of ABM/VP/SVP.
• Take a leadership role in overseeing loan review processes to ensure lending policies are followed.
• Supervise the collections process and ensure queues are completed as required by policy.
• Mentor newer staff and ensure training and product knowledge is up to date.
• Lead in other areas identified by management and assist MLOs in non-MLO functions.
