Job summary

Southside Bank in Cleburne, TX is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to lead the branch operations, supervise staff, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will oversee daily activities, ensure compliance, manage cash and transactions, and work with the Branch Manager to grow deposits and loan opportunities.

Experience in banking and strong communication are required; associate degree or equivalent; salary around 21.35+ per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree or equivalent; 6 months to 1 year banking experience preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficient in typing, 10-key calculator and data entry.

Responsibilities

Lead branch team to provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanor.
Oversee cash handling, deposits, and loan payments with accuracy.
Assist Branch Manager in daily branch operations and ensure regulatory and policy compliance.
Develop customer relationships and cross-sell banking products and services.
