Job summary

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in sales and branch operations, 2+ years of people management, and a willingness to foster community ties.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in sales/customer service and branch operations within the banking or credit union branch environment.
• 2+ years managing the performance of four or more employees with proven coaching and development success.
• 1+ years developing business relationships and engaging in community involvement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Relate favorably with members (external and internal) in encounters, conveying information and mutual respect to create new account relationships and referrals.
• Use sound judgment to analyze and resolve issues, take appropriate action, and coach associates to ensure member satisfaction.
• Meet/exceed branch sales and referral goals, and coach others to achieve their targets.
• Oversee branch operations and ensure compliance regulations are followed; suggest improvements to increase efficiency.
• Assist with recruitment, development, and training of staff to reach department and credit union goals.
• Provide ongoing feedback and schedule regular coaching sessions with each team member.
• Evaluate performance through reviews, provide on-the-spot coaching, and assign training modules and workshops.
• Reward and recognize performance; recommend promotions and salary adjustments; handle other associate-related issues as needed.
• Represent the Credit Union professionally in every encounter, including business development and networking.
• Organize and conduct regular department meetings.
