Job summary

Orange County's Federal Credit Union is seeking a Branch Supervisor to lead the Long Beach team, overseeing daily branch operations and delivering exceptional member service while achieving sales and referral goals.

You will develop staff, manage performance, and build community relationships, with a focus on high standards and teamwork. Bilingual Spanish is helpful, and comprehensive benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in sales/customer service and branch operations within banking or credit union.
• 2+ years managing the performance of four or more employees with coaching success.
• 1+ years developing business relationships and community involvement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Relate favorably with members and drive new account relationships and referrals.
• Analyze and resolve issues, ensure member satisfaction, and lead associates to solutions.
• Meet/exceed branch sales and referral goals and coach others to achieve them.
• Oversee branch operations and ensure regulatory compliance, propose efficiency improvements.
• Assist recruitment, development, and training of staff to meet goals.
• Provide ongoing feedback and schedule regular coaching sessions with staff.
• Evaluate performance through reviews, coaching, and training opportunities.
• Recognize and reward performance; handle promotions, raises, and corrective actions.
• Represent the Credit Union professionally in community and business development activities.
• Organize and conduct regular department meetings.

• Relate favorably with members (external and internal) in all encounters, conveying information and communicating with Mutual Respect in such a manner that results in new account relationships and referrals.
• Use sound judgment, analyzes and resolves issues, determining appropriate action to be taken and leads associates in the resolution, and insuring Member satisfaction.
• Meet/exceed all individual & branch sales and referral goals, and encourages and coaches others to achieve their sales and referral goals.
• Oversee branch operations and ensuring compliance regulations are adhered to. Use innovations when analyzing current practices and makes recommendations, that improve efficiencies.
• Assist with the recruitment, selection, development, and training of the staff to achieve department and credit union goals and objectives.
• Provide ongoing feedback to associates. Schedules regular coaching session and one-on- one meetings with each team member.
• Evaluate work performance of associates through timely and regularly scheduled reviews. Uses on-the-spot coaching and feedback. Assigns training modules, and available workshops that will contribute to the personal and professional development of Associates.
• Rewards and gives recognition frequently to deserving associates. Recommends promotions, salary adjustments and conducts corrective actions, including terminations, as needed; and effectively handles other associate related issues.
• Represent the Credit Union in a professional manner at every encounter, including business development and networking opportunities.
• Organize and conduct regular department meetings.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years in sales/customer service and branch operations within the banking or credit union branch environment.
• 2+ years managing the performance of four or more employees with proven coaching and development success.
• 1+ years developing business relationships and engaging in community involvement preferred.

• Final offers based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity. The hourly pay range for the Branch Supervisor role is $30.00 - 34.00.
