Job summary

State Department Federal Credit Union is seeking an Assistant Branch Sales Manager to lead branch staff, oversee daily operations, and ensure compliance with credit union policies. The role focuses on supervisory leadership, member service excellence, and driving sales growth in a fast-paced branch environment.

Ideal candidates bring at least three years in financial services, with leadership experience and strong knowledge of credit union regulations.

Qualifications

Minimum three years of financial institution experience including member services and loan processing.
At least one year in a leadership/coaching role in financial services.
Strong knowledge of credit union rules, regulations and policies.

Responsibilities

Supervise, coach, and develop branch staff to ensure high performance and growth.
Oversee daily branch operations, scheduling, cash control, vault security, audits, and internal controls.
Provide operational support and resolve complex member issues; assist with account adjustments and transactions.
Approve transactions and ensure policy compliance; act in the Branch Manager's absence.
Participate in hiring, onboarding, evaluations, and performance reviews of staff.
Identify member needs and deliver tailored product and service solutions; enhance member experiences.
