Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; at least three years of related experience and/or training; supervisory/management experience preferred.
• Requires federal NMLS registration for Assistant Branch Manager and annual renewal of NMLS IDs.
• Leadership, coaching, time management, business development, and performance management are key competencies.
• Other key skills: problem-solving, adaptability, team management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a customer-centric environment and build strong relationships with clients.
• Coach and develop team members through training, regular coaching, and performance assessments.
• Identify sales opportunities and grow Salem Five’s market share through cross-selling banking products.
• Ensure effective use of a defined sales process from needs assessment to closing and onboarding.
• Oversee branch operations including overdraft management, vault/ATM duties, account openings, compliance, and everyday office management.
