Job summary

Salem Five in Massachusetts seeks an Assistant Branch Manager to lead a customer-centric team and drive branch performance. You will coach staff, develop talent, and guide daily operations to ensure compliance and exceptional service.

The role emphasizes business development, cross-sell of banking products, and managing branch processes including account openings, vault and ATM operations, and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 3+ years related experience and/or training.
• NMLS registration required; financial services background preferred.
• Strong coaching, leadership and customer relationship focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a customer-centric environment, building and maintaining strong relationships.
• Coach and develop team members; conduct performance assessments.
• Identify sales opportunities and grow Salem Five’s market share; cross-sell banking products.
• Oversee branch operations including overdraft, vault, ATM, account openings, and policy compliance.
