Job summary

Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) – Community Bank, N.A. seeks a Branch Manager to lead the branch team toward deposits, loans and service excellence in a customer‑centric, compliant environment.

You will drive growth, develop staff, and strengthen community ties while guiding daily operations. The role requires at least five years in leadership, a bachelor’s in business or finance preferred, and a track record of coaching teams, managing risk, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field preferred.
• All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
• NMLS registration may be required under the SAFE Act.
• Notary Public licensing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve branch targets for deposits, loans, and other financial products.
• Mentor team on advice-giving strategies to improve customer financial confidence.
• Identify opportunities to acquire new customers through community involvement and outreach.
• Ensure staff are knowledgeable about products/services and cross-sell effectively.
• Monitor local market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Inspire and motivate branch staff to achieve goals and provide training for development.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Oversee daily branch operations, ensure compliance with regulations and internal controls.
