Job summary

Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) seeks a Branch & Community Development Manager to drive growth across our branch network, deepen customer relationships, and lead a high-performing team delivering superior service and profitable outcomes.

You will work with internal and external partners, ensure regulatory compliance, and travel as needed to support branches. A strong background in sales, leadership, and financial product knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Six years of sales and business development experience.
• Three years in related banking and/or lending positions preferred.
• Minimum two years supervisory experience.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to promote the Bank’s product and service solutions, with emphasis on deposit growth.
• Time spent outside the branch varies; includes external meetings and community engagement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, local businesses, and community organizations.
• Refer applicable loan opportunities to Bank business partners.
• Oversee branch staff performance and ensure sales/service goals are met.
• Monitor progress with District and Regional Managers to achieve growth and profit objectives.
• Maintain compliance with laws, policies, and internal controls.
