Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) seeks a Branch & Community Development Manager to drive growth through strategic outreach, client acquisition, and partnerships. The role emphasizes high service standards, compliance, and a strong community presence.

Leading a branch team, you’ll oversee sales initiatives, maintain external relations, and ensure alignment with annual goals in loan and deposit growth, financial services, and credit administration.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of sales/business development experience, including three (3) years in related banking/lending positions preferred.
• Minimum two (2) years supervisory experience required.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales and growth strategies to promote the Bank’s products and services, emphasizing deposit growth.
• Travel outside the branch for external meetings, community engagement, and planning activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, local businesses, and community organizations.
• Lead branch staff development, training, and performance discussions to meet branch goals.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and internal controls.
