Qualifications

• 3+ years of related managerial experience in branch operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Deep knowledge of commercial banking products and services.
• Ability to build client relationships and grow deposits.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of branch performance, including sales growth and profitability.
• Ensure exceptional service delivery to all clients in a commercial-oriented branch.
• Collaborate with Business Banker to grow existing relationships and prospect new ones.
• Coordinate with Middle Office to support Business Banking and Middle Market clients.
• Coach and develop branch staff to meet sales targets and service goals.
• Monitor lead management and ensure high-quality customer consultations via Salesforce.
• Oversee staffing functions: recruiting, onboarding, appraisals, coaching, and conduct issues.
• Identify, escalate, and mitigate potential risks.
• Foster a positive, high-performing branch culture aligned with Valley's standards.
• Develop market intelligence and communicate strategic direction and product focus.
• Build sales strategies to increase market share and deepen client relationships.
