Job summary

BankUnited in Florida seeks an experienced Branch Manager to oversee 1–3 branches, drive sales and service standards, and coach staff to achieve revenue and credit quality goals. The role focuses on business acquisition and expansion of consumer and small business relationships, while ensuring regulatory compliance and risk controls.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in management/sales and a bachelor’s degree (preferred), with strong leadership and community representation abilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years related management/supervisory and/or sales experience required.
• An approved combination of education and industry related experience equivalent to the aforementioned requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervises branch function, projects or services and one or more employees.
• Interviews, hires, and trains employees; plans, assigns, and directs work; appraises performance.
• Coaches and supports branch employees on developing, managing and growing profitable customer relationships.
• Develops plans for expansion and management of business and consumer account relationships within a branch.
• Delivers business plan growth and income objectives.
• Represents the Bank in the community and maintains relationships with individuals and civic organizations.
