Trustco Bank is seeking a dynamic Branch Manager in Florida to lead daily branch operations, drive sales, and manage staff performance. You will oversee lending, operations, customer service, and security while fostering strong customer relationships and growth through referrals and cross-selling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Strong customer service and cash handling experience.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English; bilingual a plus.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Team-oriented and collaborative work style.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training.
• Ability to lift 10-20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all branch operations with exceptional customer service and operational excellence.
• Develop deposit, loan, and business opportunities while achieving branch sales and retention goals.
• Promote the branch's identity with a sales-driven, customer-focused culture.
• Supervise, coach, and evaluate Assistant Branch Managers, Head Teller, and Tellers.
• Conduct staff training, team meetings, and performance reviews.
• Sell new products, services, promotions, and incentive programs to drive growth.
• Originate residential, home equity, and installment loans.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and security protocols.
• Handle complex customer requests and escalated issues in person or by phone.
• Approve significant transactions such as large check cashing, bank checks, and ledger tickets.
• Maintain branch appearance and uphold operational performance standards.
• Report to senior management on branch performance, opportunities, and challenges.
