Job summary

Ameris Bank is seeking an experienced Branch Operations Manager to oversee daily branch operations, coach a high‑performing sales and service team, and ensure achievement of commercial and customer service objectives while maintaining strict compliance.

You will lead strategy execution, optimize resources, conduct staff training, and represent the branch in community engagements, focusing on building relationships with clients, Centers of Influence, and local businesses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years retail banking leadership experience.
• Supervisory/mentoring experience required.
• Branch operations experience required.
• Cross selling experience required.
• Sales management and business development experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all branch operations and coach sales/service teams.
• Plan and direct branch functions to ensure compliance and customer service excellence.
• Assess skillsets, allocate resources, and ensure regulatory compliance.
