Job summary

United Community Banks Inc. is seeking an experienced Branch Manager in Tampa to lead branch growth and profitability. You will oversee daily operations, mentor staff, and drive sales and customer service excellence while maintaining strong risk controls.

You will manage a diversified loan and deposit portfolio, participate in community engagement, and ensure compliance with banking regulations. This role requires supervisory experience and a high standard of communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years banking experience.
• Consumer/Residential lending experience.
• Supervisory experience.
• Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills.
• Knowledge of Consumer and Small Business Lending Operations, Teller and CSR functions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Compliance training including Bank Secrecy Act/AML.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall branch growth, profitability and operations.
• Mentor and supervise all branch employees.
• Develop and maintain branch business plans; conduct business development.
• Hire, onboard, discipline, and coach staff.
• Meet sales/service goals and CSP scores while maintaining customer relationships.
• Conduct customer calls and profiling activities to assess needs.
• Oversee loan process; interview applicants and outline terms.
