Job summary

Metro Credit Union's Peabody Andover Street Branch is seeking an experienced branch leader to guide a member-focused team and drive performance across service, sales, and operations.

In this role you will coach and develop staff, deepen member relationships, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with regional leaders to meet branch, regional, and organizational goals. Onsite work at the Peabody branch.

Qualifications

• Experience leading employees in a retail banking or financial services environment.
• Experience coaching employees, managing performance, and driving business results.
• Ability to build strong member relationships balancing operational, compliance, and risk requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead branch operations to provide a consistent, member-focused experience.
• Coach, develop, and support employees through regular feedback and development planning.
• Establish and drive branch sales and referral goals while deepening member relationships.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex member needs and service recovery.
• Monitor branch performance metrics, staffing levels, and budget expectations.
• Maintain strong controls, security, cash management, and audit readiness.
• Support members with account openings and lending conversations.
• Partner with regional leadership to achieve branch, regional, and organizational objectives.
