Job summary

Needham Bank in Quincy, MA is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to lead day-to-day operations of the branch. You will oversee sales, service, risk management, and staff performance to meet branch objectives while building new relationships and expanding existing ones.

You will coach staff, ensure policy compliance, and partner with the Branch Manager to deliver excellent customer experiences. This role supports the community outreach and daily branch operations at our new Quincy location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required/desirable
• Banking industry experience highly preferred
• 3–5 years of customer service experience in branch retail

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop branch staff for customer experience
• Oversee day-to-day sales and service delivery
• Ensure policy compliance and branch security
• Prepare performance evaluations and salary adjustments
• Assist customers with accounts and services
• Assist customers with inquiries and account questions
• Monitor compliance with BSA/AML requirements
• Maintain a professional, community-focused environment
