Job summary

The Eagle Valley Library District seeks an experienced Branch Manager for the Eagle branch. Reporting to the Library Director, the role oversees daily operations, supervises staff, and drives outreach within the community.

Ideal candidates hold an MLIS from an ALA-accredited program, have 3+ years in public libraries, and bring strong leadership, mentoring, and documentation habits. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Master of Library and Information Science from an ALA-accredited institution (required).
• Three years of professional public library work (required).
• Supervisory experience or external-partner collaboration preferred.
• Strong management experience and mentorship ability valued.
• Bilingual language skills encouraged (English/Spanish).

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations of the Eagle Branch; supervises staff per the organizational chart.
• Communicates policies to the public and staff; manages outreach opportunities.
• Prepares monthly statistics and reports as directed by the Library Director.
