Branch Manager – Eagle Valley Library District (CO)

The Eagle Valley Library District (CO) seeks an experienced problem solver who uses solution-based thinking as its next Eagle Branch Manager. Formed as a district in 1992, the library has continued to grow and provides a wealth of services and resources for its residents. With a $6.7 million operating budget and 41 FTE, the district delivers excellent customer service from three branches in its mission to offer opportunities and resources to read, learn and grow. Library highlights include expanded bookmobile service routes, a positive and proactive staff team, wonderful facilities, and new book vending machines installed at local recreation centers. Earlier this year, the district received the “Innovation in the Public Sector” award from the Vail Valley Partnership. The district is a current nominee in the highly competitive Best of the Vail Valley community contest, the Best Company to Work For (over 20) category.

The library serves over 49,000 residents in our district in Eagle County, Colorado, on the West side of the Rocky Mountains. The area is well-known to outdoor enthusiasts for its extensive trail terrain for mountain biking, hiking, and trail running. Better known as Vail Valley, the region is home to multiple skiing mountains and is a worldwide destination for outdoor activity. Compensation

The hiring salary range is $89,925 – $99,000 (with placement negotiable dependent on experience and qualifications) and an excellent fringe benefits package.
