Job summary

BrightBridge Credit Union in Bridgewater, MA is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to oversee operations in the Branch Manager's absence and support daily branch management. You will coach staff, handle complex member issues, and ensure policy and regulatory compliance while driving member outcomes.

You’ll lead daily huddles, participate in hiring, and promote loan products, notary services, and cross-selling.

Qualifications

• Branch sales, service and operations experience in a financial institution (3–4 years).
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
• Eligible for NMLS registration and maintain as Mortgage Loan Originator.

Responsibilities

• Support the Branch Manager with sales, service, and operational control. Guides and advises staff and members about complex member issues.
• Participates in hiring, training, coaching, evaluating, developing, promoting, compensation, and disciplining subordinates within policy and budget guidelines.
• Champions sales activities and programs to deepen member relationships and attract new business to the Credit Union.
