Job summary

Santander US is seeking a Branch Manager to lead daily branch operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will coach a diverse team, manage performance, and ensure compliance with banking regulations while fostering a positive work culture.

You will develop sales strategies to grow revenue, deepen customer relationships, and use data to improve efficiency and outcomes across the branch network.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in retail bank sales management or related operations
• 5+ years in retail sales management
• 12+ months Santander experience related to branch manager responsibilities
• 3+ years selling products in an incentive-based environment
• Proven experience in a sales leadership role
• Proven relationship-building skills and a customer-centric approach
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Excellent customer service and ability to connect customers to technology
• Data-driven decision making and problem solving
• Ability to hire, train, and develop team members

Responsibilities

• Direct overall branch performance, leading team to achieve sales targets and optimize operations.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to grow revenue and market share.
• Motivate sales teams to manage a pipeline of prospects and customers.
• Engage in consultative conversations with customers to offer tailored solutions.
• Analyze branch data to drive strategic decisions for performance and efficiency.
• Coach and develop team members, set expectations and drive development.
• Responsible for hiring, retaining and motivating branch colleagues.
• Manage branch scheduling to balance needs and availability.
• Utilize digital platforms to enhance customer interactions and promote self-service.
• Provide an elevated customer experience and resolve escalated issues.
• Communicate clearly with customers in person, by phone, or via digital channels.
• Ensure risk management and regulatory compliance within a complex environment.
